“We wanted to create a sake that would be exciting—one that pairs well with modern cuisine.”
With this concept in mind, the sake was developed in collaboration with the National Institute of Technology, Nagaoka College. After more than 1,200 trial brews, the 888th sample came closest to the ideal flavor—thus the name N-888.
Thanks to its unique brewing method, N-888 delivers a rich aroma reminiscent of banana and pear, followed by bright flavors reminiscent of strawberry and lychee that spread pleasantly across the palate. It is a sake designed to bring a sense of fun and delight to those who drink it.
