This is the only region in Kochi Prefecture where "Tamayuzu" is primarily sold, shipped as is. "Honyuzu" from the Mononobe and Reihoku districts, known for having the highest yuzu shipment volume in Japan, is used.
Yuzu naturally has a strong aroma and a notably sour taste. By gently squeezing the real yuzu peel and carefully controlling the extraction process, the fruit juice with a sweet flavor and minimal acidity and bitterness is utilized.
The liqueur is based on Kubota Senju Junmai Ginjo, which features a mild aroma and smooth acidity, enhancing the fresh fragrance and subtle sweetness of the yuzu.
The resulting balance of fruit juice and sake creates a refreshing, easy-to-drink beverage, whether enjoyed on the rocks or straight.
It can also be used in various ways, like mixing with soda or tea to make cocktails or freezing it into a delightful sorbet.
