This finely crafted sake, brewed with rice and water from Sendai by the Date family’s official brewery, offers a pleasant aroma and the rich savoriness of rice — a sake born and raised in Sendai.
In 2015, it was awarded the Gold Prize in the Supporters’ Selection, where consumers choose the most delicious sake. Furthermore, at the 18th Miyagi Prefecture Sake Appraisal held in September 2016, among 128 entries, the Tokubetsu Junmai “En” won the Governor of Miyagi Prize, the highest honor in the category for Junmai sake made with Miyagi-grown rice.
