Among the highest quality sake rice, "Yamada Nishiki," we use only specially selected
contract-grown rice to make our Junmai Daiginjo, which is carefully cultivated and aged at
low temperatures for 1,000 days.
The Nishiki-e used on the label is based on Mokuami Kawatake's masterpiece,
"Mekura Nagaya Umega Kaga Tobi", which was premiered in 1889 by Kikugoro Onoue V.
