The pine tree, which remains evergreen throughout the year, has long been regarded as a symbol of longevity and good fortune, and is widely cherished as an auspicious motif. This deeply rooted element of Japanese aesthetic tradition is expressed through a refined design by emblem artist Shoryu Hatoba.
