Product Description
Akitsu-cho, home to the brewery, is a beautiful small town facing the Seto Inland Sea and is renowned as a center for Hiroshima’s *Toji* (master brewers). Nurtured by the rich, sun-dappled waters of the Inland Sea, Fukucho cherishes the gentle *Ginjo* flavor characteristic of Hiroshima—a taste crafted by generations of local hands. The rice used is *Hattanso*—Hiroshima’s oldest indigenous sake rice variety, revived from original seed stock and cultivated with reduced pesticides and fertilizers. This sake consists of the *Arabashiri*—the highly aromatic and lively first portion collected during the pressing process.
