In celebration of next year’s zodiac sign, the Horse (Uma), a special release titled “Daruma Masamune Year of the Horse Blend” has been launched. This unique sake is a blend of aged sakes from four Horse years — Showa 53 (1978), Heisei 2 (1990), Heisei 14 (2002), and Heisei 26 (2014) — with a small addition of sake from Reiwa 1 used to fine-tune the aroma and flavor.
The depth and individuality of each vintage come together to create a smooth, richly layered, and elegant expression. In addition, inspired by the horse motif, the blend also delivers a sense of lightness and briskness, as if galloping through the finish.
